Israelites Capture Egypt

"What will be more captivating than capturing the land of captivity?" " No wonder why it is Moses and Aaron who were given the authority by GOD to talk to Pharaoh, then have the ability to change the rod to a snake and not you. With your bitterness, you would have used GOD's power to do worse than what Pharaoh did to you by use of parallel powers. You are capable of being put in charge by GOD and then cursing Egypt more than the ten plagues could ever do. "

Why are we supposed to leave the land of captivity, Egypt instead of being made to capture it? Why do I hear rumors of leaving Egypt so that we can be in a desert for 40 years when we can just usurp what we built here? What is this I hear of seeking a promised land to build a new nation upon it when our nation and people are on the land of captivity that we can ask to be made ours? Tables need to turn and justice must be served, GOD. Give us the Israelites, Egypt and make the Egyptians our slaves.

The mind of an Israelite, " We heard of how Moses and Aaron changed a rod to a snake before Pharaoh and his officials. How they called upon GOD to strike with the ten plagues upon the Egyptians. So that we can be freed. Which begs the question, to where? In a desert, to seek a land we have never heard of nor seen. To start rebuilding what we have built here. Why just not take what is ours indirectly? If Moses and Aaron changed a rod to a snake before Pharaoh and his officials, why did they not let the snake swallow all the Egyptian officials before them? These ten plagues that struck Egypt, why did they not keep on striking till all the Egyptians were massacred? So that we would have no problem partitioning the land and its resources. If a few Egyptians were to be left by GOD's grace they would become what we are now, slaves. Now, that is justice being served and much more reasonable than being in the desert or wilderness to seek a non-existent promised land. What will be more captivating than capturing the land of captivity? We are not refusing to leave the land of captivity. We are just suggesting GOD removes the status quo of captivity and let us stay here in Egypt. We can possess the wealth that we built at the expense of our humanity. Some of us see no hope in this promised land we are to seek. The only promise we want is to be promised to capture this land of captivity that is built on our pain. To have power over all of Egypt's resources. What is more promising than that?"

The heart of an Israelite, "Do you not see how this land was built on our blood, sweat and tears.? Not in a positive direction but in the negative. Do you not see how this land is cursed with all it produces? Do you not see how GOD is partly here and he will soon leave this land to ruin when we completely depart from it? Thereafter it shall be the collapse of ruins. Do you not see how you are fed on the blood of your brother and sister? I know you are aware. No wonder why you are pained to the point you want to swap places with your oppressor to oppress them. You have been in a land that is not yours for generations that you feel entitled to it. Violence begets violence. The question is, if you capture the land of captivity will the pain go away? Is not better to start afresh in a promised land than to turn a cursed land into a promised one by your psychological and physical reflexes?"

The mind's response to the heart, "Act as if you do not desire the life of the Egyptians. Act as if you forgot that Joseph our forefather was one of the men who built this land and paved way for its success. I feel entitled to this land because we built it with our blood, sweat and tears. What is here is ours and if GOD is as honest as HE claims on the aspect of us being his chosen people, then definitely HE will choose this land for us to remain in. Our forefathers were here but not in our current state. Do you think if we still had someone like Joseph from our tribe who was a Governor, we would be treated this way? The best way to make sure it will not happen again is to wipe out the Egyptians after we have used them for slave labor. Give them genocide plus a holocaust at the use of GOD's hand. Wait, there is no need to use them and then wipe them out. We just have to wipe them out. For the labor we need from them, we did it ourselves. With a whip striking our backs more often than we did the job. We carried bricks with our spirit and not our physical power. For we had been broken beyond measure. Now convince me that I should not let GOD release more plagues plus a holocaust to just finish these people off. What if we go to settle in this promised land that we would be capturing and our descendants end up being like us, slaves? Just like Joseph and his brothers never saw it coming for their future offspring. History re-repeats itself. We then got captured by the people of Babylon. Here we are fed slaves till we are full. Now think how we will feast when we become the masters unto ourselves. What more can be promised to us than this land we are in? Besides paradise. Will the pain not be healed when you are given what is yours? When you deliver the right measure of justice by your means because the wrongs were done unto you. Let GOD leave the land of Egypt when HE has left it unto our hands. For we felt the pain whilst HE watched just like Pharaoh did. We will not be like our predecessors. We will not let the spirit of this land take over us. Though we are aware that it was not our land from the beginning we built it before the beginning."

The heart of an Israelite's final response is, "If you are given this land will you be at peace among yourselves? Twelve tribes at peace among themselves? The question is, which tribe among the twelve of you will the new Pharaoh emerge from? Just remember, two tribes can not co-exist. What about twelve? The new king of Egypt. Do you think you will enjoy inheriting this land if each person from each tribe holds a power-grabbing mentality like yours? No wonder why it is Moses and Aaron who were given the authority to talk to Pharaoh and change the rod into a snake. With your bitterness, you would have used GOD's power to do worse than what Pharaoh did to you by the use of parallel powers. It is not all generations that are meant to be in authority. Joseph and his brothers were of the elite class. You are not. You are not because you desire to be like your forefather Joseph for unjust and unGodly means. Now think if you became Governor or the Pharaoh of Egypt with the type of mindset you have. Will you not curse Egypt more than the ten plagues and then attribute that you are in power because of GOD? You will be in power because of you. Power will be the very demise of you. You should leave this land and embark on a journey to the promised land. Maybe by the time you arrive in the promised land, you will have your mind in the right place. You do not desire to capture Egypt for your people but for yourself. When you say 'we' you are referring to yourself. You will capture Egypt from your oppressors just to become the new oppressor."

Was the mind of an Israelite vengeful, lazy and greedy? Was the heart of an Israelite forgiving but unreasonable?
