Psychological Warfare

The only difference between who I was 3 decades ago and what I am currently is just the number of years.  I am nowhere financially stable nor socially aware of myself. At least 3 decades ago I was an inch better off than my current self because I was my parents' responsibility, but they were better off 3 decades before I was born because they were their parents' responsibility and did not have a burden. You see I was born in a system whereby opportunities were never equal and we were always suppressed. This same system was somehow a modern-day cast system, though those who ran the system denied it with the use of propaganda. So people of my status were painted a certain portrait by this system of how we should live for the rest of our lives.  Even those who had a hierarchical position in our society were influenced by the same system to instill its doctrine and ideologies of what we should be. Why?  W as this the question I would ask myself?   I grew up as an in...

Change

Political change in a positive direction will never be relevant or positive to you unless you change yourself as an individual. Neither will economical, social, technological, environmental or legal change in a positive direction be relevant to you unless you change yourself. The power of change in a positive direction will never have a positive effect on you unless you change yourself to engage in a positive direction. Make a personal change first. Even if the change is positive for a group of people at an individual level the change can be minor. That's when the individual has to take the helm and drive this mass change to make it better for th...

Being Content?

We were indoctrinated to  be  content with what we  had . Why? When most of the time what we had was of no dignity, when we looked to the next group of people. Well, I am not saying we were the worst family in the neighborhood, believe me with the little we had it was everything to another family in the neighborhood. With the way we saw it, those who had less than us were just equivalent to us, we both had nothing compared to the next group of people in the neighborhood a couple of blocks down. Our father each morning when we woke would tell us "Be content with what you have." At night before we would sleep he would repeat the same words he said in the morning "Be content with what you have." We would ask ourselves why? What did we have that we needed to be so content about that he only saw? We believed that the family a couple of blocks down our neighborhood had the right to be content with what they had. Why? They had everything we could not have but I was sure th...
